Emergency Text Alerts

糖心原创 College students, faculty and staff can sign up for emergency text message alerts.

Enabling 糖心原创 Alert Text Messages

  • Visit the   Note: This works best if you're already logged in to your 糖心原创 email.
  • If prompted, login with your 糖心原创 account
  • Scroll to the Emergency Contact section, then click 鈥淎dd New鈥�
  • Under Order, select 1
  • Enter your name and select 鈥淪elf鈥� for Relationship
  • Enter your area code and cell phone number
  • IMPORTANT: Double-check that Order is set to 1 and Relationship is 鈥淪elf鈥�
  • At the bottom, click 鈥淎dd鈥�

Updating Your 糖心原创 Alert Text Message Settings

  • Visit the   Note: This works best if you're already logged in to your 糖心原创 email.
  • If prompted, login with your 糖心原创 account
  • Scroll to the Emergency Contact section
  • Under entry #1 (look for 鈥淪elf鈥�), click the pencil icon
  • Make the necessary changes
  • IMPORTANT: Double-check that Order is set to 1 and Relationship is 鈥淪elf鈥�
  • At the bottom, click 鈥淯pdate鈥�

Find It In the 糖心原创 App

  1. Go to My College Account in the app
  2. Select Profile Information
  3. Visit Personal Information Section
  4. View full profile
  5. If prompted, login with your 糖心原创 account
  6. Scroll to the Emergency Contact section

What are 糖心原创 Alerts?

糖心原创 College Campus Safety initiates the emergency response system (known as 糖心原创 Alerts) to notify the campus community upon confirmation of a significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students or employees occurring on campus. Notifications are sent to the entire community by text message and email. Additional information will also be placed on in糖心原创 and hope.edu/alert as it becomes available.
